Barry began his parking career at LAZ Parking and, recognizing the essential need for revenue control, quickly decided to start his own company. In 1988 Barry founded Control Systems, Inc. to distribute parking, access and revenue control systems. At that time the parking industry had little control over its cash. In 2001 Barry expanded further into the parking industry by founding ZipPark, Inc. to develop software for Valet and Event parking, an area which was being given very little attention. ZipPark now has its product in major event venues, including four NFL stadiums.
